I am looking to start installing DirecTV as I currently do for Dish Network and Im told that my Super Sat Buddy 29 will work with DirecTV SWM SL3 and SL5 without a problem however I can't seem to find the correct settings to do this can anyone help me out?

man i hope someone can help me with this i would hate to think i have a $750 meter that I cant use with DirecTV

Yes they say you can peak with the SWM LNB's with a SSB. I will tell you this and most other installers will tell you the same. The SWM LNB's suck to peak with. Get yourself an SL5 or 3 depending on what is used in your area, and use that to install with. I have one SL5 that I got off of an old dish that is the same LNB I use to peak every system. Main reason is that Directv LNB's seem to have a very wide range of how they read on a meter. So using the same one every time let's me know I am hitting what I expect.
