testing ploaritys on feedhorn

After restoring a centerline feed horn
I want to make sure its working right before i put in on the dish

Can i test it by hooking it up to a receiver and switching polarities to make sure the servo is working right and my polarity are right

I almost think i can but need to make sure before i do it

any help would be appreciated

I know you can test the servo by doing this, as I have done it in the past. But, the only way to know if the polarity is right, is to mount it and check afterward. I'm sure, but not positive?
