Channel 6 (WPVI) in the Philadelphia area is having some MAJOR issues. Apparently they switched from UHF 64 to VHF 6 and they are now dark in a lot of their primary viewing areas.

Is it true that stations were advised to avoid the VHF 5-6 frequencies? I used to get their signal free and clear, and now I've got 0% since the switch.

On a side note all other Philly stations made the switch beautifully...and, now, I can finally see WHYY-PBS!!

I guess the question now is what can ABC-6 do about getting their viewers back?

I lost them too in the Lehigh Valley.

I'm lucky enough to pick up another ABC affiliate, WNEP, from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

DFW switch seems to be DONE
