Thinking about going to DirecTV

Thanks for the input everyone. The local D* outlet is a TV shop that has been in business here for years, and has good reputation. I think they will work with me. If not, Ill stay with cable....I wont start out with outdated equipment.

Well if you call D* as a new sub, I doubt that you'll have outdated equipment unless you ASK for it.

Ex: awhile back before the HR24's I would request a HR20-700 when I needed a replacement recvr, because it had OTA tuners built in.
