This thead was a sticky and it served its purpose well. But the VOOM websit shutdown is more important and the information I received was from a source closer to the negotiations.

I do not know what the CSR was reading but to me that does not make sense that E* and V* made an agreement at this point. It seems to me that V* needs to make an agreement with CVC first.

It was probably one of the old "E* bought Rainbow1 but we are staying in business" memos or a rumor based on the mess.
