I have plans to fix a 10 foot dish I have at 101 SES 1. Will I have any success using these dual band LNBs that I see on ebay, (or any someone recommends). I don't have plans to motorize the dish. I did some some threads, but they're quite old

C/Ku LNBFs are usually a bit of a compromise, particularly on the Ku side. However in the specific case of 101W Ku, the only transponder with TV channels is rather easy to receive, so that might work just fine. as long as you have a bit of margin on your C-band reception in case the combo als degrades C-band a bit

If you just want to experiment you can have this combo LNB for the cost of shipping.
