I have a spare OTA dongle from Dish which I would like to use on my Windows 11 PC. I thought, as soon as I plug it in, the device would be recognized, but it is not recognized. Any suggestions?

Being new to the board, am not familiar with other thread. If there is a solution please let me know.I guess you didn't like the answers you got in your other duplicate thread...

There is no known solution. The chipset was made exclusively for DISH.Being new to the board, am not familiar with other thread. If there is a solution please let me know.
The solution involves reverse engineering the technology. That could take a bit of effort. Good luck.Being new to the board, am not familiar with other thread. If there is a solution please let me know.

You are right. I am able to download the drivers from Hauppauge and it does recognize it but I ca't use it w/o their SW, which is asking for some code that is supplied with their packaging.I believe the Dish OTA USB receiver is made by Hauppauge (at least the ancient single channel model was). They sell a Windows package. I don't know if the driver and app are available separately.
