hi to all, when using a standard lnbf,do the lnbf pick up vertical and horizontal?

Unless you have a single-polarity LNB (most are commercial), your LNBF will receive both polarities. The receiver sends 13 volts to the LNBF for vertical, and 18 volts switches it to horizontal.
