You can use it, but the dish 500 will only pick up 119&110. If you need, or want HD programming with it, you will need a 1000.2 (119/110/129), or 1000.4 (61.5/72.7/77)
1000.2 is the full western arc dish to get HD
1000.4 is the full eastern arc dish
In Arizona, you'll want the 1000.2 so you get satellites 119, 110, and 129. The 129 satellite carries most of the HD channels on western arc

No, the signal will not reflect properly. The dish was only designed to pick up the 2 satellites
The OP has a DP Quad on the 500, which does not have a satellite input

Depends on how you do it.
If you get a 1000.2, it has a built in switch, so no you wouldn't need a switch
If you get a second dish to point at 129, yes, you would need a switch (a DP34 most likely)
If thats the case you'll need a DP21 switch and your 129° dish will need to have a Dish pro lnb too. It's probally easier just to get a 1000.2! Unless you have the second dish already laying around.
