I turned my voom dish earlier tonight to try and pull in the 110 signal from dish and I didn't have much luck. However when I got the signal to about 92 I went ahead and tightened the screws and let the program guide download and guess what, I got the bell express vu lineup. They have channel where they talk about HDTV and such that I got to watch for a little while. Anyway it was kinda cool, not what my intention was.

If any of you were able to do this with either a dish or voom sat do you know how far off I was from the 110 sat.

Thanks,
Danielle

You were way off. ExpressVu is at 91w and 82w. There isn't anyway for anyone to know which one you were on without telling some of the channels in the lineup. ExpressVu uses the same equipment as E* so if you aim at one of their sats you will download their lineup and receive any unscrambled channels, you just can't subscribe using a E* receiver.

The VOOM dish is the same as any 18" D* or E* dish and can be pointed at any DBS slot.
