We Must Be Getting Close

To answer the question, I believe the hub in the Seagate enclosure is powered. I did not test that, though.

That is probably best considering the OTA dongle is bus-powered. But if everything else connected to the hub, like the EHDs, are all self-powered, I might expect an unpowered hub to work as well. The H+ comes with a power supply, does it not?

He doesn't want to use it. He's concerned about appearances. :D
Next he will be wanting a red recording light on it. :D

For those in same area as me, NC New Hanover area, is does not have hopper plus or joey 4 available yet.

Was hoping when i call dish next to reapply promo to keep costs down, I could just talk them in to give me those upgrade for free, like i got hopper/w single and joey upgrades, and then h3 and 4k joey for free. but at last still no available

Simple solution - Plug your EHD into the bottom USB port (which is USB 3 for faster transfers to/from the EHD)
Plug the Plus into the top USB port and the OTA into the USB port on the front of the H3.
This is the arrangement I used before purchasing a hub and it worked fine.
