Just finished watching the "Royal Flying Doctor Service" on PBS. Based on true stories, it tells about remote medical emergencies and the doctors that fly in to treat them in Australia.

The next season, Australian Survivor: Redemption premieres on February 23, 2026, on Network 10 in Australia, featuring returning players with a new theme of second chances and a new host, former winner David Genat.

I started "The Expanse" on Prime Video, again. Hopefully, with the 9th book a done deal, they'll produce and show the last three seasons at some point. It does help that the story jumps forward a couple of decades, but it should work.

It still amazes me that this started on SyFy and was as good as it was given what a $#¡ț-show that channel had become.

My take, the series needs to be renamed to "Star Trek: Starfleet Academy Fraternity Shinagans".

I observe that many stories related to Starfleet Academy involve shenanigans, perhaps the most notable being the Kobayashi Maru incident from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

ST:TNG The First Duty, involved Wesley Crusher and four other elite cadets trying to cover up the execution of a banned flight maneuver that saw one of the cadets killed.
