Think of what the Tribe could have had if they traded Shoppach after the 2008 season. Hell, after the 2007 season, there were rumors of a package including Shoppach going to Pittsburgh for Jason Bay.

Yeah, sad really. Shoppach had a breakout '07 season to only deflate his value completely in '08 & '09.

Oh well, on with the Youngsters! And these young catchers will be in great hands now that Sandy Alomar Jr. is back in town with a coaching role....
