Jimmy John's used to be one of my favorite chain sandwich shops. A lot of them have closed down so now I have to go out of my way to go there. Today I was in the area so I dropped in. What a disappointment. There was hardly anything in it. I guess Im done with them now.

I bought a dozen eggs that were marked down to $2.19 because they were getting close to their sell by date. So I hard boiled 6 of them and made egg salad.

Egg salad, lettuce and tomato on soft whole-grain bread with a handful Sun Chips. Iced tea.

Browned ground beef with sliced mushrooms added low sodium mushroom soup and a can of milk then simmered, on bread with sweet tea.

Southern fried chicken with collard greens and mash potatoes. Small glass of brown ale.

Flat Carne Adovada enchiladas, green chile, beans and rice. Locally crafted IPA. Sopapilla with honey for desert.

BLT made with tomatoes from my brothers garden. Water.

Pinto beans cooked with ham bits, slice of bacon & beef frank coined, added chorizo & ground beef… Tea

Not something I normally eat during the summer months. Green Chile Stew, Carne Adovada Burrito and an extra tortilla. Root beer.

Loco Moco and macaroni. Hawaiian Sun strawberry guava nectar to drink.
