You are correct Sean, it was never a spec sheet. But the very first demo boxes supposedly had them, and it was dicsusses at those presentations as a feature. And Wilt was pushing to keep it.

Thank you Darrell for the correct specs. I was going from memory and it is a little distorted because of what my Sony Wega does to the signals.
In any case HD signals are clearly superior to the best DVD upconverts.
This is why we need an HD DVR. There is no other current technology that allows us to record in HD.
