Where can you find the RID# for directv clients not activated yet

Need the Rid # for the unactivated clients & it is not on the label or packing info, on the genie you can pull the card
 
it needs to be connected to the geine to throw off the 4 digit mac code
Nope, MAC address is on the bottom of the unit on a sticker right next to the Ser Number sticker.

As a side note:
If you do hook it up to the genie and pull up the Info section, it should show that info there as well.

the model of the mini
mac address software version server receiver id
genie access card number
ect ect
but as jimbo said it should be on the bottom of the box
 
A way to find the RID of a client is when you do a reboot, when you get the screen saying running the self test press and hold the select button on the remote, you'll then get a screen that shows the RID of the client. At least it works that way on my C61K's.
