where has AMC 6 gone?

I've scanned and rescanned and can't find AMC 6,All other birds come in fine,also Gallaxy 28 has lost ABC news.Every thing worked fine until the heat wave,would 100 degree temps affect my Quad lnb?Thanks guys.

Well, Both sats are still there , AMC6 with the NBC mux is your target, and ABC NEWS NOW on 89W . Aren't you glad that it's YOUR problem. Gives you something to ponder over .

The problem was a not quite tight enough connector to the dish motor,the record heat expanded it enough to make it intermittent.A cleaning and retightening fixed it.Thanks for you invaluable help!

Easy things are the last thing I think of, when I lose a whole satellite, lol. That was a fast fix!

One time my lousy cable job to the SG2100 manged to work the connection loose just enough to loose connectivity. What a PITA that was. I was, however, overjoyed once I found out it wasn't a switch or lnbf.
