WHNS 21 not working

Anybody in the Greenville/Spartanburg, SC area:

We was watching Divorce Court on WHNS-21 (FOX) and then the picture freeze and minutes later it has a "No Need to Call Us" message I think. Is the station having issues?

that generally means yes and that they are aware and working on it.

yeah when the "no need to call us" screen pops up then D* is aware of it.
Had that happen last fall when our local CBS kept having issues with their tower. The screen would pop up and once the signal is back then it goes bye bye

It happens this time of year. Its the way the sun and earth are aligned causing minor satellite disruption.

No actually that is a different message. It states that the sun is causing interference or something along that line. It happened to me a couple of weeks ago.

I use to see that with my C-Band back in the day, but rarely have seen it on D* !
While I'm sure it happens, I'm probably working at that time frame.

I saw it a couple times during the afternoon. Was watching HDNet and a slate came up about sun outage

Had it happen to my KU setup too..that sucked as it was a ballgame I wanted to see and right when it started the signal went out...10 minutes later it was back
