Wii HDTV lag

Im using the Wii with the 480p comp cables, dunning thru my 1909's monitor input.

Just got in Grand Slam tennis and I feel there may be a little lag, and Im wondering if its because i moved the connection to the Denon. I know HDTV's all have some lag, so Im wondering if the Denon monitor would be making it worse?

My kids have noticed a bit more lag on ours when run through our Denon 3808 then to the projector. If the game has a calibration feature they use it and all is well.

Yeah, I hooked it back up direct to the tv and ordered some connectors from monoprice. Gonna have the audio run straight to the 1909 and the component cables at the back of the tv.

Interesting. I run my Wii through my 3808ci and I have experienced no problems at all. Have not played Grand Slam tennis but I have played punchout, Nascar Kart racing and all the sport games. No issues.

Im not sure it did, but with the Wii motion plus games I need it to be as close as possible. Itll be fine once I get my audio back on the Denon, because it sounds better, but I'll leave the component cables to the tv and it in game mode.

Grand Slam Tennis is a blast, now that Im getting the hang of it.
