on SVT, you get the 4 dots:
Upstream Transmit Power
Downstream Channel Power
Downstream Signal-to-Noise &
Upstream Signal-to-Noise.

I know that if they're green, you're good, and if it's red, its over.

but my question, what is the optimal numbers that you're looking for in those readings??

Upstream Transmit Power.... -99.0< value < -9.5
Downstream Channel Power.. -60.0< value <99.0
Downstream Signal to Noise.. 10.0< value <99.0
Upstream Signal to Noise... 7.0< value<99.0
