I forgot to plug it in one night and it ran fine for 48 hrs off the charger and I use it quite a bit.

Guess you can't just search their store or something?

I am sure there are many of us waiting with baited breath to take a step backwards to WP.

Don't think anyone will be taking any steps back wards very misleading. Most of the top WP Devices out there will do anything that Android or Iphone 5 will do plus somethings they can't. So only thing that Android or Iphone has is more Apps but majority of those are 3rd party so to me those never count anyway WP has most of the popular ones. Hardware wise WP Devices are some of the best if not the best HTC,Nokia,Samsung those are your top manufactures out there.

The ones I have played with at the cell phone stores here are definitely a step backwards even further than another popular phone is that I will not name. Maybe they don't have the ones that better on the displays here yet.

I use my smartphone mostly for apps. So if it doesn't have what I need I might as well go get a free throw away phone that is good for texting and talking only instead as it would be the same thing.

He's just excited about WIndows 8. Frankly, so am I. My wife is going to replace her Windows Phone 7 with a Nokia 920 in February when her upgrade is available. Quite frankly, if it wasn't for a few apps I depend on, I would consider making the switch myself.

One or two apps are all that's holding me back as well. The os itself is as good as anything on the market IMO.

No I just choose Windows over other rest and just try to enlighten those who choose to see that there are other options out there is all. End of the day choose what you want but I think there is way more over hype platforms out there than Windows especially on the net that the truth gets left out is all.

And, no apologies needed. The thread title does say Windows Phones (not Android or Apple). We all are KoolAid drinkers, Flat Earth Society Members, or Luddites comfortable with our old shoes and sweatshirts and resist change.

I find it refreshing to see a new system. Just went through a 17 minute video interview of one of the Microsoft tech managers for WP and was impressed. Apps intergrated with minor mods between X Box, Phones, and the big machines creating a huge device base. Phone system designed for Corporate IT management so companies can have a robust but secure way to share data with various groups of employees while maintaining high security standards. Enter something in one device and it auto syncs with your others and all Office compliant.
