The wife and I are getting a lap top soon. What do I need to get to be able to print wireless. I have a Netgear router if that helps.

Does your current router have wi-fi capabilities? You can either get a new printer with built-in wireless printing or you can add a wireless print server to your existing printer or you can go the good old fashion hardwired direct connection.

Or you could share your existing printer if it's connected to your desktop, and the desktop and laptop are both running Windows.

Or you could connect a network-ready printer to your router with a cat-5 cable. Most wireless routers have some RJ-45 ports.

Yes. My router is wireless. Do you have recommendation for a print server?
