Cinemax for 1 year for .01 w/ autopay/paperless billing

I have a question. Is anybody else here doing the $40 Starz rebate thing also with this Cinemax offer?

I was wondering how do you do that because to get the $40 rebate you need 3 copies of 3 months' bills that show you have Starz but you can't make copies because you have paperless billing?

I have never subscribed to a premium channel since I have had Dish. That being said, this was too good of an offer to pass up. .01 a year for 2 years? Even if I only watch it once or twice in that time it will have been worth it.

I just switched from AEP to dvr advantage and they let me sign up for the penny deal all in the same call. So even if you have cinemax its worth a try.

hdhead,

Thanks for the original post. I got CineMax via this deal earlier today and so far it been worth every penny :)

Better go online and check your bill. They signed me up but my bill shows a $137 charge, CSR took it off and says computer won't give me the penny deal, doesn't know why.

Sheesh, I haven't had Cinemax for at least 15 years. Now I know why a lot of you guys refer to it as Skinemax. I had to set up my ratings locks so the kids don't see it.

No kidding! I wish they would start that stuff a little later. A lot of it starts at 10pm CST so you can see the it all in the guide.

I just called about this. The CSR said that as long as I keep autopay and paperless billing, I'll get Cinemax for $.01/pre year until Jan. 31st, 2010. I guess that's 2 years.

Yeah. I was clicking forward through the Cinemax channels in the guide and when I got to late evening and thought... whoa, how did I hit the wrong button and jump to the adult PPV section of the guide

You don't suppose this SkineMax 1 penny deal is Charlie's little "free sample" to get folks interested in the adult PPV, do you? Nah, of course not

I won't be able to check until I get home, but this does include CinemaxHD right?

That's not exactly a Cinemax problem though -- hardly any channels are starting and ending exactly on time anymore it seems.

I especially liked recording Ice Age: The Meltdown and then having two minutes of "Sin City Diaries" at the end of it.

Very nice. I bet the kids loved that.

I saw one of those shows in the guide the other day and the info for it said "Beautiful women please the eye." Well, that sounds good.

Just did it. to.

However, the scripts do not match, so does someone know, because my CSR did not. the promo script said 12 mo, however the "terms" stated 2010. anyone know?
