This show is amazing, I have seen over 50 theories for this show alone, dont tell me JJ abrams dosent know what he is doing!
Alas, it is not clear he knows what he is doing with the new Star Trek; as TV Guide is reporting that the first enterprise was built at Area 51.
But I am so looking forward to a little LOST. 9 long months with out my Evangeline...

I don't believe there has ever been an explanation for the monster, and after it killed Eko I don't think it has been mentioned. I can only remember one polar bear being shown, the one shot right at the beginning of the series, but there had been more. Sawyer and Kate were kept in the bears' cage. If I remember correctly, Sawyer was told that the bears figured out how to get food faster than he did, but considering what had to be done to get the food, they had an advantage in that there was more than one of them.

This is another one of those shows I had to do some arm twisting to get the "other half" to watch. Then I couldn't stop him. We just went through all three seasons in the past month or so. We finished season three about a week ago so we haven't had to wait as long for it to come back as you all. I'm pretty sure that was supposed to be a 2nd Polar Bear that Kate & Juliet hid from wasn't it?

I think you are right!! There was two polar bears a baby and adult. I really like this show ,but i need some answers this season! Especially after i was made to wait soooooooo long!
the wait was horrible. when i found out that it wasn't going to be starting with the other season premiers i was upset. i also heard that every week is going to be a new episode thats why they made us wait. i think that will be worth it
