FSS Stacked LNB and Zinwell Switch

I have the 121W Super Dish FSS Stacked LNB, a Zinwell Wide-band 6x8 Multi-Switch and a DISH Plus dish (See Pix) I would like to use these to maybe get 101W or 97W.

I want to leverage the Zinwell in order to use both a DirecPC dish using Hughes linear LNB and DISH Plus using FSS Stacked LNB with a Fortec Star Merc II. The Zinwell has two 18V ports and two 13V ports plus two FlexPorts (not sure what they do) and looks like it uses 22 KHz switching.

Is this possible and if it is how would you setup the Zinwell and the receiver??

I have read many of the FSS Stacked LNB threads here and I think I understand how to get it to work by itself----I don't think I understand how to make the one receiver control both fixed dishes.

BTW, never done any switching before.

You select a LNB by chosing 22KHZ tone on/off then polarity V/H.

And either use special band stacked transponder freg files (ini) or blind scan.
 
Quick Question

I read in another thread here that the Dish FSS Stacked LNB uses the 13V port but what about the Hughes Linear LNB (Pix below)?

The FSS stacked can use either 13v (Vertical) or 18v (Horizontal), I should know, I am running 16 stacked LNB's from one 4X1 diseqc switch.
 
With a stacked LNBF, you can use a 2100mhz-rated splitter instead of a switch to run multiple receivers, since both polarities come down the coax at the same time.
 
Wouldn't that cause the multiple receivers to send 13/18V to each other? It's been my understanding that the receivers needed to be isolated from each other, voltage wise.

on a stacked LNB, they are all either V or H so a 2100 mhz splitter will work fine.
 
what is the difference between the dishpro 121 bandstacked lnb and the old starchoice cal amp part 150478 stacked lnb?
 
i did some intersting testing on the 2 of them yesterday.
the cal amp stacked gave a signal of 85 to 90 while the dishpro stacked would only give a 70 on the same transponder with the dish peaked properly.
Also on a blind scan the verticals come out the same but the stacked horizontals come out at different frequencies, for instance.

does this mean that they have slightly different oscillator frequencies?
The whole point of this is that I want to be able to use this lnb for my starchoice dish and receiver when I go to the cottage
 
Convertion formulas

Linear Dish Type
24600 - (Horizontal Freq as listed in Lyngsat) = (New bandstacking Freq to tune)
Note 10750 (Lof1) + 13850 (Lof2) = 24600
 
They are definitely not the same. When I get *choice to switch me to the stacked channel map, with the beer can style stacked lnb I get all the subscribed channels. When I swap it out for the dispro fss stacked i only get the vertical channels. The stacked horizontals show no signal.
