Cincinnati Bengals 0-16 watch

Week 7:

I almost got sucked into this one, but not quite. As badly as the Stoolers manhandled the Bengals early in the game (not a surprise since the Stoolers were rested coming off a bye week), the Bengals actually were moving the ball in Stoolers territory, down 17-10 with 12 minutes and change left in the game. The statistics had almost evened up between the two teams, and Ryan Fitzpatrick was probably having the best game any QB has had against the Stoolers this year. Cedric Benson had just plowed into Troy Pollywolly and knocked his helmet off on a first down run. Unfortunately, another Stooler DB was injured on the play, and an official's time out was called. I say unfortunately, because during that time out, the Stoolers apparently realized they were in a game and decided to turn on the heat, scored 3 more TD's, and breezed through the rest of the game.

Cryins Ward will probably be fined again for the blindside hit he put on Keith Rivers. The hit may or may not have been legal, but after the game, he pretty much said he doesn't care if he gets fined, he's just going to keep playing the way he plays. Well, the league should institute some kind of mandatory suspension for repeat cheap-shot offenders--I bet then he'd be singing a different tune. Now, our potential defensive RoY is out for the year with a broken jaw, while this f**king pr*ck gets to keep playing. What an a**hole.

If Fitzpatrick plays like he did yesterday, the Bengals MIGHT not go 0-16. But the way I see the stars aligning, I say we have a REAL good shot.

Next up: At Houston

It was? Really? I was there...and though I nearly fell asleep during the third Q I remember every snap. The Bengals had 1 good drive. Just 1. No more. IMHO the score was not representative to the way the game was played. If so the game would have been 24-3.

See ya

There is no denying the suckitude of the Bengals, in general. But how many teams have had more than 1 "good" drive against the Steelers this year? Not many, if any.

I think this team could be worse than the Lions this year; Detroit showed some heart against the Texans and Vikings.

The Lions have heart, but no luck or talent. The Bengals just have no heart or desire. They don't have that fire in the belly.

Viking's yes , Texans, no. Where did you see the "heart"? Was it when they were letting the Texan's march down the field their first 4 drives? The fourth drive ended with a fumble, the only Detroit defensive highlight of a another dismal afternoon. Sabre, trust me this one was ugly.

You seem to be implying that I said Ward's hit on Rivers was not a clean hit. Read my post more carefully, smarty-pants.

Whether that hit is clean or not, the fact that Ward is a cheap-shot artist is almost undebatable. I've been watching his act for years.

Wards hit was entirely legal and something you see all the time if you watch special teams play.
This would not have happened had the player had his head up and paying attention. Just like in hockey, you don't keep your head up, you'll get laid out.

Nothing wrong with Wards hit and he is FAR from a cheap shot guy like you said.

If a Defensive guy make a hit like that he's applauded for the great hit.
Ward ALWAYS blocks as a rec. you cannot ask for more, he plays hard on every play, if the ball is not coming his way, he's not afraid to help his team mates by blocking like so many other pansy rec's.

I can't see what all the fuss was about either. Looked like a clean hit to me.

Things going from bad to worse.

The Bengals continue their perfect season!!!!!

Another loss 35-6 to the Texans of all teams... The Bengals will breat their own franchise record for losses in a season this year! I feel it.
