Unfortunately I'm all too understanding of this. I miss the way it used to be and hope we can build this thing up again. The cities themselves have a rivalry between them and once the teams become competitive again, I have no doubt it will be a good thing.

With Holmgren running the Browns, that will probably change.

Sandra

I think Sandra's made a very good point .... once Holgrem gets the team the way he wants it, it will come back around.

Right now it's Ohio State and M.

Then again, Holgrem's Seattle teams were never a power house either.

I wouldn't call it a rivalry between the cities,we just HATE everything that has to do with Cleveland.

The rivalry between the two teams ended when the REAL Browns moved to Baltimore.
It didn't end, just changed names. All the Steeler fans here treat the Ravens as they did the Browns of old, and consider them the same team.

As for the new psuedo-Browns, they don't really care. Nothing against Cleveland, it just isn't the same team.

Have to hand it to Art Modell though, he finally learned how to have the Browns win the Super Bowl, just move to Baltimore. :D

Hell look at Ken Anderson, only way to get a Superbowl ring was to join the Steelers as a coach.:D:D:D:D:D

What does Ken Anderson have to do with the Browns ?
He played with the Bengals.

Apparently Pittsburgh hates the entire state of Ohio now. Either that or they're not educated enough to realize that CLE and CINCI are about as far away as any other city in this state from one another (nearly 300 miles apart).

Nothing to do with the Browns. Derwin0 said Modell was smart to move that team from that crap hole called Cleavland to win a Superbowl, I was making a joke saying about Ken Anderson's only way to get a ring was to coach for a team he played against and probably despised.

And you guys wonder why I have ZERO tolerance for those toothless 'billys in Pitt-stain-burgh! Grrrrr!

You are so arrogant, that alone makes me laugh so much when ALL your teams fail over and over and over again.

Wouldn't you think you should WIN something before you get that arrogant ?

I would say the biggest rivalry right now is Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings...I mean Old QB vs new, and two teams that both have enough tallent to go deep into playoffs.

They have to both get there first, for both of them to get there they would both need to probably win 12 games or more, I don't see that happening for both.
