I have a bone to pick with you young man. Regardless of what the record shows, I can agree with KC being ranked higher than my Raiders... No doubt. But San Diego....? On paper...yeah...in the overall grand scheme of things.... No.

You must have me confused with someone else..........since next week I'm exactly halfway between the Big 4-0 and the Big 5-0!! :D

You have a legit gripe when it comes to the Chargers, since the Raiders swept them. Honestly, after team #16 (Jacksonville), the teams fall off BIG TIME!!

Bill,
Interesting, you still have Baltimore ahead of the Steelers ....

Weren't the Steeler's like 7th or 8th a week or two ago ?

Fluid I guess !

You could go either way with these two teams, especially since they each won on the others home field.

I think it honestly came down to the Steelers and Ravens games against the Pats and Jets. The Ravens defeated the Jets at the Meadowlands and took the Pats to OT in Foxboro. OTOH, the Steelers lost at home to both the Jets and Pats.

1. Will the Lions draft a QB ?
How much longer do you try to go with Stafford, with him getting hurt every year ? IF he doesn't play the full year next year due to injury, I think they THEN need to get someone else in there.
I think he's a hellofa QB when he's standing. Maybe they should draft a O line !

2. Pitchers and Catchers report !!!!

You haven't been watching Jimbo, the Lions 0-line is the best in the league in terms of sacks allowed this year. Apparently, since opposing d-lines aren't getting as many shots at our QB's they're making them count. Our QB's got hurt a lot, but they really didn't hit the turf that often. Just the same, Raiola and Backus are getting old, and will need to be replaced in a season or two. I would call a shutdown CB a bigger priority right now. This team is very close to being a contender. (Did I just say that? The Kool-Aid is kicking in.)

As for drafting a QB, no way. Too much money invested in Stafford, just to see him have success somewhere else. He's not injury-prone, just unlucky so far. Nothing in his past years in college or HS suggest that he is injury prone.

I REALLY like Stafford, if you say he's just been "Unlucky", I'll buy that if he can have injury free season or at least close to it, a healthy Stafford. And the Lions may have 9 wins this year.

Just given ya grief!;):p

So bengals resigns lewis, fins look like they're staying with spacrapo and jaguars staying with delrio

So, let me get this straight: leading the Raiders OUT of their long slump was NOT good enough for Cable to stay?

Cable FINALLY makes the Raiders RELEVANT and WINNING games, yet it's STILL not good enough for Al Davis?!

I guess he wants a flashy name rather than someone who KNOWS what he's doing.

So much for 'Just Win, Baby.' Here's a guy who finally got the team to do so- but that doesn't work.

Either Al is STILL bitter about Cable undermining JaMarcus Russell, or the old geezer has LOST his ways.

WHAT?!!!!!

They haven't won more than 5 games in like 10 years, they win 8 this year and SWEEP the division and they FIRE their head coach?!

I'm sorry Salsa, but this is dumb.

I don't know yet....I mean IF they give the job to Hue Jackson, who is the OC and keep the rest of the staff...which what it looks like it might be the case...then they really don't lose a beat.

You don't let your head coach go because you're scarred you'll loose a coordinator.

Can you imagine if Robert Kraft operated this way when other teams came calling about Crennel, Weis, McDaniels, etc and fired Belichick in fear of loosing one of those guys?! Al Davis is INSANE!!!
