Bad things always happen to Salsa when he travels to a Bills game.

FEAR THE BUFFALO BILLS!

Bring on the Patriots- bring them on.

One of the biggest surprises of the season so far has been your Buffalo Bills offense. But in all fairness, you've put away two mediocre opponents. Next week will go a long way in telling if the Bills are a contender or pretender.

I wonder if Warren Sapp is still going to say the Steelers D is old slow and over since they didn't let the Seahawks score.

So are you drinking orange or grape flavored KoolAid?

i told the guys around here that miami never has beaten Houston. they thought i was crazy. miami is 0-6 against the texans no matter how good or bad we are.

LOL I heard that on Inside the NFL...he was correctly called out by the other hosts for making his proclamation after one game.

i'd say that kool-aid he's drinking has a special ingredient. maybe buckets of it after reading that post

the bills will not be in last place this season in the division. but to say that the pats need to fear the bills is,well............:loco:

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of my Raider weekend in Buffalo....

Well, what can I say... the Raiders just cannot win in Buffalo!

The best part of the entire weekend of course was to see family(they live 45 minutes away in Rochester). Great to see mom, sisters and a new nephew. It been a tough week with my father-in-law passing away earlier in the week and seeing family was a nice way to help the pain go away.:)

Well, here goes it...

The Good:

With injuries to the ENTIRE starting recieving corp(Ford, Murphy, Bey AND Boss), the backups filled in better than I can truly imagined. Like I said before remember the name Denarious Moore...he will be a STAR! 5 catches, 148 yards, 1 TD AND an effort so big on the final play, a "hailmary" that they took 10 minutes to review if he had dual posession long enough to call it a TD. The announcement from the refs came to a 3/4 empty stadium. Derek Hagen had a nice game where he made every crucial catches when the team needed them most. Darren McFadden had a great all around game. 75 yards rushing, 71 yards recieving for 146 all purpose yards on 27 touches. Jason Campbell had a very good game, 23-33, 328 yards, 2 TDs/1 INT(on the "hail mary" pass). Made some very good decisions and you cannot ask for anything else, you HAVE to win when you score 35 points.

The Bad:

Fitzpatrick picked up apart with the short game. The CBs were played too scared of the long threat and the just gave WAY too much cushion when covering man-to-man. Something they will eventually fix. Our LB did a good job pass covering, but real bad in having the front lines back when it came to run support. Alot of that had to do with the lack of depth the Raiders have had all season in the LB department. Those starters were gassed. NONE THE LESS, start using those young guys....and the lack of using them or lack of trust is the coaches fault. IF you don't trust your players, WHY are they on your team.

EDIT:

Oh yeah, I forgot about our midget kick returner Nick Miller...MY GOODNESS, with ALL the speed we have, we pick the SLOWEST GUY ON THE TEAM to return kicks??!!! Not only that, the moment he would get touched...he would just fall..not dive, not lunge, not jump...but just fall to the floor where his body language would simple say, "please to don't hit me anymore...." AAARRRGGGGG!!!!

The DOWNRIGHT Ugly:

The so-called "Monsters" in the front line were nothing but. The were pushed, smacked, pulled, yanked and eat up alive by the Bills offensive line. NO TEAM should lose after the offense put up 35 points. And finally, oh those pesky penalties...:facepalm The 1st half, they played a FLAWLESS 2 quarters...outplaying the Bills with ZERO penalties. The CBs played too damn scared. The Raiders have some of the fastest CB in the game...they practice against 2 of the fastest players in the game in DBH and Jacoby Ford...then WHY are you giving 10 yard cushions on man-to-man coverage... GROW a F***ING PAIR!!! Then, ugliness reared it's ugly head. 8 penalties for 85 yards, and some of them were questionable, but still... you HAVE to be better than that.

Next week, home opener against the JETS. UGH....I still have very high hopes for this team...they have showed some fight and they really need it because the AFC West, more than ever, is WIDE OPEN.

I wonder why NO ONE has called out the Fat Tuna about the Dolphins... he BUILT the team that is stinking up the place NOW. Those are all his "groceries" and those are HIS PICKS at coach and GM.

NFL Week 2 Notes, Stats and Discussion Points:

1. Which was the real Tony Romo, the catastrophe of Week 1, or the comeback artist of Week 2?

2. Tom Brady is one of 5 QBs on pace to make a run at DanMarino's single-season passing yardage record. What's with QB's this year?! NFL.com Blogs » Blog Archive Data Points: Marino’s yardage mark in jeopardy «

3. Fantasy owners are hitting the waiver wire hard today. Vick (concussion), Romo (broken ribs), Jamaal Charles (ACL), Arian Foster (hamstring) and Miles Austin (hamstring) all suffered significant injuries on Sunday.

4. Cam Newton's 854 passing yards are most ever by player in his first 2 NFL games. First rookie QB ever with back-to-back 400-yard games to start career.

5. Tom Brady is only player in NFL history to follow a 500-yard passing performance with a 400-yard game.

6. Entering today, most pass yards 1st 2 weeks was 827 by Kurt Warner in 2000. This record was topped twice in hours...854 Newton then 940 Brady!

7. Patriots have scored 30 points in 10 straight regular season games, 2nd-longest streak in NFL history. Rams - 14 straight in 1999-2000.

8. Who would've thought the Bills/Raiders game would've been must see tv? Wow!

9. Bills: 79 points in 1st 2 games, 2nd-most in franchise history. The record is 87 points by 1991 team that finished 13-3, lost in Super Bowl.

10. The Ravens losing to the Titans is a clear example of a "hangover game". They got up for the previous weeks game against the Steelers, and then had an emotional/physical letdown this week against a mediocre opponent.

11. Are the Lions for real? Or are the Chiefs just the NFL's whipping boy?

12. Detroit's 45-point win is the Lions' largest since beating the Browns 59-14 in the 1957 NFL Championship Game.

12. The Seahawks have lost 9 straight games in the eastern time zone.

13. Multiple franchise records set Sunday. With his 1st TD run, Adrian Peterson set the record for most rush TDs in Vikings history. Larry Fitzgerald had a TD catch Sunday, giving him 66 in his career, tied with Roy Green for most in Cardinals history.

14. And finally, congrats to Pat Shurmur. QB Colt McCoy presented the Browns Coach the game ball to congratulate him on his 1st career win as a head coach!
