NCAA College Basketball 2011-12

Looks like West Virginia has wasted no time starting the rebranding to the Big 12. The Big 12 logo is on the practice court now.

This will be the last year of the big east as we know it.

Saturday
Kentucky vs Penn St.

you know your team really has some pull when last night the CBS affiliate in Lexington WKYT (and also WYMT Hazard) were able to show the replay on TV at 7:00. Saw the feed of it. Looked like mush (SD only) but hey I guess its better than nothing

In my opinion the best college basketball games to watch today/tonight are as follows:

3:00PM Michigan-Memphis, ESPN 2 (Maui, HI)
5:30PM Duke-Tennesee, ESPN 2 (Maui, HI)
7:00PM Wright State-Florida, Sunshine Network ESPN Full Court (Tampa, FL)
7:30PM Missouri-Notre Dame, ESPN 2 (Kansas City, MO)
12:00AM Georgetown-Kansas, ESPN 2 (Maui, HI)

The Maui Classic is loaded this year!

Enjoy!

Both Sean McDonough and Bill Raftery were saying the Golden Flashes are a team to watch this season....a Cinderella-type Eight Eight team.

I can see that. Also, look out for Cleveland State in the Horizon League. Led by former Kent State head coach, Gary Waters, the CSU Vikings opened the season with a convincing 71-58 win over #7 Vanderbilit, on Vandy's home court!

In my opinion the best games to watch today/tonight are as follows;

2:00PM Memphis-Tennessee, ESPN 2 (Maui, HI)
7:00PM Michigan-Duke, ESPN (Maui, HI)
9:30PM UCLA-Kansas, ESPN (Maui, HI)
10:00PM California-Missouri, ESPN 2 (Kansas City, MO)

Enjoy!

Your opinion needs readjusting, because you missed THE premiere matchup in the national basketball landscape!

Cleveland State @ Kent State, 7:30pm EST

In all seriousness I absolutely would have included that game...but in order for me to recommend a game to watch, one criteria I use is that it has to be televised. I'm funny that way. ;)

was watching what I think is the "coolest" college name on a satellite feed

Transylvania University in Kentucky (their game was on WKYT-CW feed)

Must see game tonight?

Radford vs. Kentucky

Why you ask? Because I will be there.

Good games to watch tonight:

5:00PM Georgetown-Memphis, ESPN 2 (Maui, HI)
7:00PM Stanford-Oklahoma State, ESPN 2 (New York, NY)
7:00PM St Mary's-Denver, Root Sports Rocky Mountain, FCS Atlantic
8:30PM San Diego State-Arizona, Fox Sports Arizona +, FCS Atlantic
9:30PM Syracuse-Virginia Tech, ESPN 2 (New York, NY)
10:00PM Duke-Kansas, ESPN (Maui, HI)

Unless you happen to be in Rupp Arena tonight...then by all means I would recommend watching Radford-Kentucky! :D

Enjoy!

Got to watch my ISU Redbirds play the Illini last night in HDTV. Annoying that Illinois hasn't played the Birds since 94, even though the schools are 53 miles apart. While Illinois won, it was a very close game. 2 point apart until .5 seconds when ISU had to foul. Ended up a 4 point game. The worst part was ISU dunked a beautiful 3 pointer to tie the game with 15 seconds left, but the kid's foot was on the line. It was an enjoyable game. Just wish it wasn't in Cancun - as I would have been at Assembly Hall to see this one.

Have you noticed all the college games on the Thanksgiving holiday? It seems like theres a lot more games on than ever. I wonder why there are no games on Christmas yet there on Thanksgiving? There basically the same holiday.

Except you missed the Illinois - Illinois State game, which was very good.

The world is bigger than the "power" conferences. I know ISU kept the Illini on their toes for 40 minutes. Looking forward to the Missouri Valley Conference games to begin.

goodbye and good riddance.

Vandy with the upset!
