They looked pretty damn good against Oklahoma. They had a bad game but they're still unbeaten. Florida, Georgia, and LSU aren't so they're irrelevant as far as I'm concerned. K State, Bama, and Oregon all have a chance of losing still tonight. ND may not win pretty every week but a win is a win. They have themselves in great position if any of the other unbeaten teams lose.

Oregon's not losing tonight.
K State is up by 14 with 8 to go.

ND also had 1st and goal from inside the 3 and fumbled into the end zone in OT. If he doesn't fumble just before he crosses the goal line the game is over and that missed kick never happens. I agree they got lucky tonight but Pitt got a good break in OT too.

Anyways, better to be lucky than good, a win is a win, etc...

Yep, I prefer to celebrate an ugly win than a good loss any day!. :)

Right but I said that when all three games were in the very early stages and Bama is in trouble right now. That puts ND in very good position.

Edit: it also puts K State and Oregon in good position but I'm obviously a ND fan.

Was just updating scores ...:)

LSU playing better than I expected them to.
Looks like they will beat Bama, wearing them down late and the LSU D has held Bama to pathetic 3 down %'s tonight.

HUGE 3 point attempt coming up.

FG was wide, so it's still a 3 point game with 90 sec to go

You can forget all of that.

Until the last series when Bama went right down the field and scored.

Why does it feel like everybody outside of Tuscaloosa was pulling for LSU?

Because we were. They have been at a different level than everyone else for the last couple years. Plus if they lost there would have been a chance of a national championship that didn't include the SEC. I think the majority of fans outside the SEC are pretty sick of the conference.

I don't like Alabama and I was rooting for them, I was also rooting for Kansas State and Oregon. Anything that keeps Notre Dame as far away from the title game the better, what an absolute disgrace that would be.

I actually think more people were rooting for Pitt today, just so the nonsense would stop.

I don't get why ND's 9-0 is nonsense. The BCS computers have them tied with Kansas State at number 1. Outside of Alabama's win over number 5 LSU tonight tell me who the other unbeaten teams have beaten that makes their undefeated better than ND's undefeated. I think the computers will move Alabama to 1 after tonight's win but there schedule up to this point has been every bit as tough as Kansas State's and much tougher than Oregon's. Oregon has all their toughest games at the end of the season but they have beaten up on a bunch of cupcakes so far. That's why they were skipped to 4th. You may not like ND but the fact is they had a tough schedule this year and they are 9-0.

They were given the game on a phantom PI on 4th down when they were down 14 in the 4th, game would of been over.

The way NBC announces these games is a joke, openely rooting for them. Mike Mayock has zero credibility anymore.

They're obviously the worst of the unbeatens by far, not as good as Florida, Georgia or LSU.

That penalty IMO gave ND the game, but then again ND gets everything handed to them.

Im not sure what that is supposed to mean. It definitely helped but a whole lot of stuff happened before and after that play. I mean ND scored 2 other TDs after the one that came from that call. I'm sure glad those 9 teams they beat handed them wins. It has made for a very exciting season for us ND fans. I hope someone tells the last 3 teams that they are playing ND so they hand it to them too.

Comments like that just sound bitter and jealous. There are questionable calls that go both teams way in just about every game. Most people only tend to remember the ones that go against the team they're rooting for.

I don't need a computer to tell me what my eyes already know, Notre Dame's schedule is garbage. Stanford is the only team on their schedule that's ranked, and that took a bogus ref call to do so. Next 2 weeks they play the 2 worst teams in a medicore ACC. Alabama, KState and Oregon are vastly superior teams, so are a lot of 1 and 2 loss teams that should be ranked higher. It's ashamed that it doesn't work that way and you get reawrded for playing crap.

It gave them a TD and turned momentum around.

Well, Bama did not play as well as expected, but Ill take it. Good, exciting game to watch. RTR!!!!

Lots of close ones for the top teams this week. Must be something in the water.
