2013 AL Central

Very nice to see T Hunter off to a Hot start and Jackson keeps on going from where he was last season

Interesting stats from the game: Jackson and Hunter both had 2-hits and continue to rip into opposing pitching, Tigers had twelve (12) hits but sixteen (16) strikeouts in the game with five players stiking out 2 or more times.

Two nice Twins wins against the Angels after that awful series against the Royals. Solid pitching and Mauer is hitting lasers around the field.

It should be a good pitching duel between Detroit's Scherzer and Seattle's Hernandez. I'm hoping our bats (we've been hot) can prevail in this one.

IF we can stay up long enough to see it ...

I was in and out of last nights game, but was able to see the 8th, but not the 9th and saw after the game !

Tigers and Mariners are off to an early pitching duel. The Tigers are hitting .307 coming into the game, but only 1-hit in the first three innings. Too bad I'm going to hit the rack.

Not so quick there youngster !

This is a pretty good game here ...

King Felix and Max Scherzer both pitching well.

Edit:

8th inning, both Starting Pitchers, still pitching well ... 1-1 tie.

Sadly, both Starters were pulled after 8, Dotel in for the Tigers, gives up a solid hit to first batter ... Coke next ... UGH

Time to go to bed.

BFWFU!!! In a game that probably ended a few minutes ago, the Tigers pulled out a hard fought 2-1 win in 14-innings...with a play at the plate no less. Scherzer and Kinky Hernandez both mowed down 12 each and our bullpen held fast.

P.S. Tori Hunter quickly ran down the ball and made a great throw from right field. He turned our less-than-stellar OF into one of the better ones in the league.

Too bad the game was on so late.

I went to the bedroom when Coke came in and turned it back on when Virreall was in, hes scary too.
Was in and out, but did see the last 2 innings.

Nice play be Hunter and Prince and Pena !

When I saw Princes throw up the line a little, I thought, Oh No.
Pena hung on to the ball, it was great!
