Free XM/Sirius

I just checked channel 68 in my wife's car that is in the preview. It's got SPA!
Just checked my ol' portable xm radio which in the past has been able to receive all free listen events. And ch 68 is coming in strong and nice -- Spa station that is .

You guys are awesome. Thanks! I just re-subbed, though I had to do the online chat with Emma to get my offer ($5/mo for 6 months) extended to a year.

I just checked my car and it's not activated yet. How long does this take? The car is outside so I don't see why it didn't get the news.

I may have to send a hit to my radio... Is that even possible without CSR involvement?

I would guess that if the car radio wasn't on when the initial signal came down, it may have missed the authorization ping. You can try a "refresh" from your online account or wait for the next hit to come along while your car radio is on. It seems reasonable to assume that the receiver isn't always-on.

Even though my 2014 Ford Escape sees the free SiriusXM, I use the SiriusXM app over cellular with my wife’s subscription because it sounds so much better than the tin cans and string between them of Ford’s Sirius receiver.

Right now I'm listening ch 69 Escape. - I can listen to this all day and all night

I'll have to check that out. Wikipedia says:
Escape features a beautiful music format, described as "Easy instrumental arrangements of the great melodies of the past 80 years with a touch of vocal", and plays a music from such instrumental artists as Henry Mancini, Chet Atkins, Bert Kaempfert, Richard Clayderman, Ferrante & Teicher, Geoff Love, Jackie Gleason, Andre Kostelanetz, Paul Mauriat, and Percy Faith, as well as vocalists such as Andy Williams, Anne Murray, Barry Manilow, Perry Como, Neil Diamond, Barbra Streisand and The Carpenters.

I was going to post it but it has her radio id built into it somehow as I click on it and don’t have to do anything else. It’s just says your radio has been re-activated.

I've seen those too and tried to get the deal offered for my daughter's car on my radio. They won't do it. :( But I eventually got the deal anyway after they dropped the Spa channel for 2 months and my promo ended and I cancelled. Then, they offered the deal for me.

Wonderful ...
Lets see if we can get him back AFTER we let him go ...
Instead of just working a deal while your already there.

I have XM radio in my Xterra but I don't subscribe to it. It's a PITA to try to find something worth listening to while driving. Not worth it to me but if I hear about a freebie I'll listen in to 60's, 70's and 80's music.

It's good depending on what genre you enjoy. Having actual rock stations is a great thing. Something I can't get on traditional radio.
