Had to transfer my Lifetime subscription to a new car. They wanted to charge me the $75 transfer fee until I reminded them that the class action law suite that they settled with said they could only charge $35. Their system would only let them do $75 for the transfer but they gave me a $40 credit for the difference.

What package is that for ?

I think I'm on the All Access package.

Last year I asked about that $60 deal for the year and they said there's no such thing, its something going around on the internet.
The $5/mo deal is for the select package, which I have in my car. The boss has the all access package in her car and we renewed that for $90/year. Both packages include streaming.

Free preview from May26th to June 8th.

With so many streaming options, including free ones, it's hard to know which one to get. I can even stream my local stations so I'm covered with or without SXM.

Unfortunately, not many aftermarket radios have SXM integrated into the receiver but are SXM ready. You'd have to buy an external radio and find a place to put the radio and antenna and then connect it to your aftermarket head unit. But, I believe the standalone SXM receivers have the ability to transmit a low power FM signal to the head unit. I suppose they do bluetooth these days. Anyway, there are always options.

I would skip the FM link because it is of such poor audio quality. The new XM Tour receiver has bluetooth if your radio has that capability and that would work much better. Also, there is an XM bluetooth cradle that will work with the Onyx plus.

I attempted to add bluetooth to my sister's VW a few years ago... I tried so many of those damnable things I've lost count! Some were DOA, others had a very spotty FM link, and still others came through so fuzzy, I eventually gave up. Too bad because, for older cars (that VW was a 2000), you can add most of the functionality of a modern "infotainment" system, for very little money.

I STILL have spotty service in my 2016 F 150 ...
I can be driving down the road and it will just go out and say "Searching for Signal"

It always happens in the same areas that it goes out ...
I've talked to the dealer, they say they have no reports of trouble, while others say Ya, it happens on everyones cars.

When I talk to Sirius, they tell me to download a link they send me via text .... I said, you want me to do this while driving thru this area ? :eeek

Theres about 10-15 areas in town that I KNOW will take it out, many others that I haven't documented.
Btw, they are not ones that are blocked by buildings ....

Free Car XM From May 26th to June 6th.
SiriusXM was free this Thanksgiving weekend for travelers. I found the SYNC 3 head unit seems to do a much better job with the satellite audio than my original MyFordTouch SYNC system. ESPN was the only channel I noticed experiencing “ducted audio”.
