NFL 2022

Big TV announcer changes.

- Troy Aikman to ESPN for MNF is 99% certain.
- Al Michels has choice of ESPN MNF or Amazon TNF.
- Joe Buck possible to ESPN MNF.
- Kirk Herbstreit to either Amazon TNF (remain at ESPN for college) or as the #2 crew for ESPN pro (ESPN will have 25 game/year in the new contract and needs a #2 crew).
- ?? Gets promoted to the Fox #1 booth. Greg Olsen?

I know that he has one year left on his CBS contract, but I’m hoping that somehow Ian Eagle gets a #1 pxp gig for one of the NFL right holders.

That explains the first part of Bill’s comment but not the second….

Exactly, and I also don’t understand how a team that finished behind a team in the same division can have a more difficult strength of schedule. Each team plays a home and home within their division, and the same inter and intra conference schedules for a total of 14 games. The other three games (2 intra conference and 1 inter conference) are played against the teams that finished in the same position (First place teams play first place teams, second place teams play second place teams, and so on). For example, how can the Texans have a tougher strength of schedule than the Titans?

Texans have to play the Titans twice. Titans get to play the Texans twice.

Falcons WR Calvin Ridley has been suspended at least 1 season for betting on NFL games in 2021.

Pete Rose just rolled his eyes ... :rollingeyes

It will only get worse with the abundance of States opening up Sports Gambling ...
Ahhhh the all might dollar speaks again.....How many years till, all pro sports figure out this is the dumbest partnership of all times?

Then sprinkle on top pro sports in Vegas! What could possibly go wrong?........LOL!

Rodgers returns to Green Bay.
yawn ... :bored :deadhorse3

Has anybody seen a pattern here ...
First Brett Favre retires and then he doesn't, then he does, then he doesn't ....then moves on to another team ....
Now Aaron Rodgers does about the same thing ... except theres more Media platform for him to play.

NOW, the Packers should trade him.

Rodgers was not retiring. Nobody assumed he’d return to Green Bay.
