NFL 2022

The Dolphins have traded WR DeVante Parker to the Patriots. I’m cautiously optimistic about this. The skepticism in me wonders why Miami would trade him to a division rival. ‍♂️

Talk about a blessing in disguise!! If this is proven to be true, it will be good riddance to Daniel Snyder.

The owners looked away at a culture of sexual harassment, but withholding money from them? He’s done….

At least Bortles took his team (from a dysfunctional organization) to the AFC championship game. What the heck has Dalton ever accomplished? Nada.

Exactly!! Andy Dalton may just be the most overrated QB of my lifetime (1966), and that’s not hyperbole. Last season, I understood why the Bears treated Justin Fields with kid gloves. What I didn’t understand was starting Dalton over Nick Foles.

Uh, because the coach is a nit? Let's open the doors for the flame throwers. Here's some info on Foles everyone wants to ignore, including Nagy.

Eagles all time completion percentage at 62.9%

Eagles all time lowest Int percentage at 1.9%
Career at 2.1%

Eagles all time lowest INT in a season (2013) 27 TD-2 Int

Eagles all time QB rating at 93.2

Career QB rating of 87.3

Superbowl MVP.

And he's 3rd string behind a rookie and Dalton? Oh, please!

I believe that the Bears (Matt Nagy) signed Daulton with a stipulation that he would Start the Season as the Starter, which pissed off a lot of fans as well as players as they saw Field playing better than Daulton in the pre season.

Nagy was DUMB enough, to not even let Fields, thier #1 draft pick remember, practice with the 1st team offense.
He had Fields playing the QB for the upcoming teams.

Therefore when Daulton got hurt a few games into the season, Fields came into the game and had NO Chemistry with the recvrs and it showed and people thought Fields was a bum.

Nagy set Fields up to Fail from the get go.

To be honest, Foles time with the Bears hasn't been all that good either.

With Nagy as coach who was? Look at the coaches he's had. Andy Reid had success with him then that nimrod Chip Kelly came along and totally screwed everything up and traded him to that other QB killer Jeff Fisher. OK, back to the Eagles via Reid again and under Doug Pederson he wins the SB and is MVP. Now the Eagles let the wrong QB go and he ends up with the dysfunctional Jags where he gets hurt and never gets his starting job back. Then from there to the Bears and Nagy. Good grief a lesser man would have retired by now (or become good friends with Johnny Walker).

Yup,
I've always felt a players career is determined by where he goes to play, in most cases.
Very few Great QB's play for lousy teams.
I wouldn't say Matt Stafford is a Great Qb, but he looked WAY better playing in LA vs Detroit.

Remember, the Great Tom Brady wasn't a Great College QB, he was avg for the most part, don't think he started till a Sr. Went in the 6th round, so that tells ya what they thought of him coming out.
He went to the right team and did great.

That’s all well and good, but my point was more about Nick Foles. How was he third string behind a rookie and Andy (0 for postseason) Dalton??

Savvy Patriots traded San Francisco's, Miami's, and Tampa's 1st round picks to move up the trade order. No one took notice until it was too late. They also traded Joe Burrow to Dallas for three draft picks. :D

Somewhere today I heard that Haskin had run out of gas and crossed the expressway to get to a gas station, when he was hit ....
Waiting to hear more details.

He was in Florida with several other Steelers players preparing for the upcoming season.

R.I.P.

Crossing an eight lane interstate is crazy, especially if there is a divider. Doing it at 6:30 in the morning?! That is simply reckless play with your life stuff.
