Johnny Manziel posts a photo on Instagram and the college football world objects – again

Stuff like this is what gives college football a bad image and is gonna get aggieland in trouble.

Whether it was legal or not, posting photos online holding wads of cash in a casino after winning the heisman and big bowl game just isn't the smartest thing to do.

It's well known throughout Texas that his father owns land in the oilfields outside of Tyler, TX. They're loaded. That's how he afforded the courtside NBA seats. Here's a 20 year old kid who has the world by the balls and knows it. More power to him.

Dad's rich (so it's his own money), he's 20 (gambling age is 18), so there's really nothing to see, and not a damn thing the ncaa can say or do to him.

It's funny seeing the Big 12-2 collective butt hurt over Texas A&M, probably because it only took them 1 year in the SEC to become more relevant nationally than any team there(for now).

It is like that on every sports board I follow. Quite humorous.

The battle of two of the most arrogant fan bases in college football tonight. As much as I dislike 'the Fighting Catholics'(I have been on their campus quite a few times in my days in Chicago and very little catholic teachings outside of class goes on there... ;) ).... I despise O'Sabin Been Lying even more....!

So, despite the fact that I may throw up in my mouth when I say this....*gulp* ... I want Notre Dame to win....

That was grow...saying it and going down the gullet....

Perception is everything. The NCAA may not say or do anything to him, but that doesn't mean it doesn't throw up red flags that maybe they should look a little closer at whats going on at college station. Like I said he's a cocky sob just like Cam Newton. He wants to draw attention to himself and eventually someone is gonna look closer than he wants.

He's just showing what a bad example a kid with money can be, and being a douchebag!

Has nothing to do with which conference they are/were in and everything to do with how lucky they were to get Johnny M,and his talent.

We really don't give a damn what they've done in the sec. People were actually congratulating them on having success this season, but they win a couple of big games and suddenly they think they're kings of the world. The aggies were mouthy little girls crying about everything before they left and that's the perception they still have.

There is no one in the Big 12 sorry to see them gone. The only team the Big 12 fans regret losing was Nebraska, the other 3 not so much. The Big 12 collectively is a better conference now and now that the crybabies in college station are gone, the conference is a lot more peaceful too.

I am picking Alabama to win even though I don't like either team.

Yep, just as funny as the sec's superiority complex on every board I see.

There is certainly some of that going around. I may pick, but it is mostly just that, mainly because it seems to bother some so much. ;)

As to the complex, even you have to admit, its backed up most years. Even this lackluster bowl season (by our standards) could end up being a 6-3 record, which is not so shabby.

I can tell that it has not bothered you at all. ;)

I think it will come down to how well alabama can contain Golson. If he can move and make plays, I think ND wins. If they contain and shut down Golson, then Bama should have it.

That is the vast majority of it for sure
. That said, the season they had, coupled with the talent coming in, and the conference they are now in will most likely build on that. It was a perfect storm of things, and A&M left at the perfect time to capitalize on it IMO>

So you're trying to convince us that the Big 12-2 is better now after losing a top 10 team? LOL.

While the SEC, ACC, BIG10 & Pac12 where having their conference championship games the Big12-2 was largely ignored and was really irrelevant.
