2017-18 NCAA Football Thread

Damn, the fsu QB is out for the season.

I hate that for the kid, but while watching I feared that was going to be the case.

Well, a&m is dominating UCLA, and tech just went ahead in a close game.

Decent football on a Sunday night.

It's my favorite time of the year. Where football dominates my TV viewing. Went to the Iowa game yesterday and it was a beautiful day. Hawks got off to a slow start just like the majority of teams did in week 1 but they came out on top. I was a little concerned going into the game since Iowa is starting a new QB after losing CJ Beathard to graduation and Wyoming has one of the top QBs in the nation. Iowa's defense made him look pretty average.

I love to bet on football games and got off to a rough start. So far I only managed to win 2 out of my 6 bets but boy did the one pay off. I usually will pick some big games I want to watch and some where I feel the spread is off then I will pick a long shot or two. I saw one game that was paying out +26500 for the underdog to win and I didn't think the favorite team was that great so I figured, what the hell. I put a $1 bet on Howard to beat UNLV straight up. Boy was I surprised to see that Howard won by 3 when I woke up. Now I wish I would've thrown we couple more bucks on it.

Reactions: mccoyrj and Ronnie-
TAMU under Kevin Sumlin is known for 2 things. Manziel and colossal collapses, neither makes for job stability. Sumlin was already on short leash with fans and alumni will be surprised if this wasn't his last game.

Well, the true freshman qb has LA Monroe this weekend to work out on, and then UM and Nc State come to town. I am going to all three, can't wait to get back to Tallahassee.

What a collapse by Texas A&M. Horrible game coaching IMO.

The kid who took over for Eason at Georgia looked pretty good. Granted it wasn't against great competition but he didn't turn the ball over and led them to three TD's.

Cats won on the road. Hmmm, best I just leave it there.

Bama looked pretty good and I'm not sure about Florida or Michigan, considering all of the players suspended for Florida. But, MI's defense looked VERY good.

Common theme with Kevin Sumlin. Total collapse and having no idea how to handle it, most teams would of made the necessary adjustments but this coaching staff was clueless. If he doesn't get canned I'll be shocked.

How about them Hokies!? Damn what a game... give it to WestVA though they played hard and like a top 20 team for sure.

Hard to believe all the injuries all these teams are having... I expect FSU to drop 5 spots alone for losing starting QB...typical media for ya.

Some people get off on trolling. Its all they have.

It must have really bothered him when Ohio State won it all in 14. I'm sure that team was overrated too.

If people hate them that much they must be doing something right. Their on his mind 24/7.

I'm not trolling... to say I am is rather offensive.

The constant link that doesn't link could be considered such.

Is it a mistake that is in your posts on accident, or are you trying to bait any of our Ohio State fans into responding?

I'm assuming it's just a mistake.
