:confused: That was the first thing I looked for and noticed thanks to a previous post. The new "TV Guide" logo is at the top of the screen in the middle - between the banner and the preview window. Maybe you have a different guide display setting that has always shown the "TV Guide" logo?

Bottom line, the timers still add an extra 4 minutes of unneeded programming and hard drive space to each recording unless you use about 10 keystokes to change each timer. I have the patience to do that, but when my wife records a show, she does it as simple as possible. Thus we have 34 minutes...

My update showed up Wednesday... I noticed that you can now press "Info" on the remote for more detailed infomation on what the "All/New/Daily..." timers mean. It's an alternative to scrolling aside and pressing "Help". That's the only change I noticed (I don't think it was there before).

I've got a stand-alone TiVo, but I haven't checked to see if there was an issue with new 2005 episodes. On the TiVo the show details don't show "New" for new episodes - but it does show an "R" for repeat episodes. Maybe TiVo and Dish use different EPG providers - if there is more than one...

^^ Care to point to one of those threads? I've done some extensive searching including the "Similar Threads" at the bottom of the page, and the what I saw doesn't show any problems recording from DVR to DVD.

My EPG updated yesterday as I tried to scroll past next Sunday. I waited until this morning to give it time to update the timers - yet the 2005 new episodes through Friday are still being skipped. So I have manually had to "Restore" the skipped new 2005 episodes.
