I can find a lot of QB's in the league that don't belong there.
Troy is better than a lot of them ..... He only needs a chance, but with Flacco making a go at it, it doesn't
look like Troy will get a chance there.

Agreed. For anyone to say "he's no NFL QB" is complete speculation. Troy hasn't had enough playing time to actually make that conclusion one way or another.

How much playing time should he or anyone get? There were people saying that if you just gave Joey Harrington a 4th chance he'd be good or that if you just got David Carr out of Houston he'd be good.

Well, I think at least a full season and a half would be fair. Troy Smith has only had the opportunity to start twice! There's no way in hell you or anyone can make such a judgment after two measly games!

I can't believe Philly can't stop Fitzgerald.

You think they would have done what Carolina should have done- put double or triple coverage on him.

So much for the vaunted Philly secondary. The Cardinals look like a team of destiny now. Their bandwagon is filling up fast. This from a team that had the lowest attendance in the league for years and barely even sold out their wild card game against Atlanta. But whatever. The Eagles suck so I'm for whoever beats them.

The Eagles are coming back but David Akers has had a brain fart or something by missing an extra point.

Insider made a bold SB prediction; now it's my turn.

The Arizona Cardinals ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!

You heard it here first. Cards are going to Tampa.

I hate yo pat myself on the back, but... I called it before the playoffs started.

Don't say everybody didn't believe, because I did. Well now half my prediction for the Super Bowl is in there(of course I am just talking about the Championship games). The Ravens need to win now.

The Ravens are an incredibly lucky team.

They should thank the heavens they are only down 6 points!

Wasn't Limus Sweed a stud WR for Texas ?

He can't even catch a cold this year, hope he improves drastically by next year.
He had 6 catches all year and at least that many drops.

He had a TD hand delivered and dropped it.

Steeler's should be up by much more.

I bet bookies in Vegas are hating life right now. Any idea on what futures bets for the Cardinals reaching the SB were going for before the season started? I remember reading about how when the Rams did it in '99 it wiped out a lot of the profits for the sportsbooks.

Looks like it was 45/1, but there was good money to be made on any of the 4 remaining teams...

Interesting. I would have thought the Cardinals would have been longer shots than that. They are still a pain for bookies since Arizona still had long odds going into the playoffs. Next thing you know if the Cardinals win the SB you'll have casino bosses going to the gov't for a bailout. :D

Any of your teams have special food-related promotions?
