Seriously, schools need to crack down on these guys. If they don't dismiss them, then cut back their scholarship or something.

Its really just funny to watch all the sports people talking on say ESPN and others about this weekends line ups of games. I can't wait to see some nice upsets early on so we can get a bunch of these guys coming back and saying they were wrong.
Arrested is one thing.... charged is another but then to be found guilty after going thru the process is the end result that should fall into removal of scholarship and kicked out of school/off team. I think they should follow due process however in some cases they are drawn out to keep players playing thru a season before a decision is made when at least suspend them from playing till a verdict is read.
What are they saying on ESPN, I haven't watched ESPN except for games in years.

I hated when they decided to put seats in what WAS the Open end of the stadium.
It use to have a unique look.
Definitely not "State of the Art" ..., however, it is Very old, but has been updated regularly, as much as you can with the stone pillars and construction.
They finally put in permanent lights a few years back I think it was.
In some ways that's better.
Bryant Denny is one of those old school historic stadiums as well and as much as I love what they have done with it, it's almost too state of the art in some ways.
It's still great and among the nicest in the nation but there is something to be said for old school tradition. Like the uniforms. The day they change that is the day I raid Tuscaloosa.
Went to tiger stadium in Baton Rouge a few years ago. And by modern standards it was a dump. But it had so much history dripping off of it in an old school way I was as excited as I could be to soak it in over the smell of corn dogs.
They've just done a massive update too.

Dump is being polite, and history aside, the only thing I ever "soak in" there is the smell of smuggled hard liquor and the rain (which "they" say it never does in Tiger Stadium
). With all the massive leaks that place has, during a really hard deluge you're apt to stay drier remaining in your seat rather than go down below the concourse. And don't get me started on the bathrooms.But, there's no place I'd rather be on a Saturday night during college football season. Wish I could go more often.
