It wouldn't surprise me to see CBS drop out for this round and get back in next time around, depending on how long the contracts are for.
Maybe they pick up another conference in the mean time.

From what I saw, they were out bid by a considerable amount ...

Disney owns ABC and 80% of ESPN. IMO ESPN does an awful job broadcasting especially MNF has become unwatchable with Booger McFarland. As much as I can't stand Troy Aikman, Booger is even worse when it comes to color commentary. I feel like I've been beaten with a stick after a game with Booger.

I know Disney owns all of that .... so that also means well probably be seeing the Sec on ABC as well ... I hadn't thought about that till now.

I don't know how long the Notre Dame contract goes for, maybe CBS will buy ND coverage instead.
