Thinking of motorizing a 84e which motor would be best to use.

I see some people are using the SG2100 but they are having problem with the bracket.

mines been mounted on a sg2100 for a couple of years
the mount is inverted... and shimmed with a piece of pvc
another way is to get the motor thats inverted

That is my Spring project when it gets above freezing again. I was looking around the other night at some of the motorized primestar projects, when I wanted to move the dish for a feed.

Thanks guys for the reply's . I guess I will look at getting sg2100 and beef up the bracket like the other have done. hope I can get it together soon. saved a little money back from christmas.

Hey guys I noticed that their are like 50 manufactor of the sg2100 which one should I get.

DMSI or Moteck "DigiPower" are the original SG-2100 motors. I believe Sadoun now stocks these as well...
