AC3 Audio

What type of external sound cards are being used to decode AC3 audio? I have used the Creative Extigy Soundblaster, but those are becoming scarce on ebay .....

Look for Sonic Voom or Cyberhome headphones on eBay or Amazon. Also some home theater receivers will process and output the AC3 audio.

You can look up spid/f ac3 sound card converter and a lot of things will pop up. Prices and quality will vary. If all you want to do is hear the audio you don't need much. If you are recording, having several bitrate options may be important. Another option is getting a USB to PCI adapter/enclosure, then you will have a ton of other choices.
