I got a complete dish that was setup about 5 minutes away from the city limits on the Southside of town.when I go to set the dish up will be much difference in the setup or should I be able to aim the pivot true north

There should be no difference in setting as long as the pole was and is again installed perfectly plumb and level.

Are you talking about a C-Band dish?
Either way, if there pole was true plumb and your is also, it should not be hard to set-up. If it was still set-up properly you will not have to touch the declination, if this is a C-Band Dish.

Your declination angle should be the same. Just get the polar axis set by rotating the whole assembly so it tracks the entire arc properly. There's a lot of info on how to find true south etc on this forum.

True south, if you're in the northern hemisphere. Do you know what size/kind of dish it is?
