I got my shipping notification today too - Tuesday delivery for me as well (my inner nerd keeps thinking of Star Trek Generations). I'll let you all know if it solves/helps with the OTA glitchy software issue - maybe the software will work better with a newer piece of hardware (I am currently using the original Hopper single OTA adapter - bought as soon as they were available). I am not confident that it will, but for $30, it was worth a shot (especially if it means I can cancel my local channel package).

well i saw two ups trucks go by without stopping. I called and was told thqt when the website says it is out for delivery it does not mean it will be delivered. So Maybe Monday or maybe not. In any event UPS should provide better status info but that is not something we will solve here.

OK, i'm confused. If it is not supposed to arrive until Monday, what's the problem???

I still have the original dual tuner and it works flawlessly. Maybe it's the laptop cooling pad it's laying on or something, but the signal strength on a few of the channels are at 100%. I probably will get the new tuner sometime, but only when I have some extra money and also when this one stops working well.

Because there are goofy people like me who like all their components to "match", regardless of the fact that nobody will ever see them. With that said, I wouldn't spend $60 on the "Dish" adapter, but I would probably spend $50 on it before I spent $30 on the AirTV adapter. Yes, it is crazy, I know :)
There are some on eBay now for $50.

I tell people about your laptop cooling pad all the time. Brilliant idea
