That might be because custhelp.com is not a VOOM or CVC domain but a CRM company.

I have tried any link I can find including the desktop shortcut to news and information site on Voom's website. Funny thing is, on that link nothing is said about the shutdown until you navigate to the WWW.VOOM.Com address. Looks to be a hack to me.

It is just a subdomain on a domain owned by RightNow. Voom uses their services for Customer Service apparently.

I have to admit that....

it seems odd that tehy would publicly announce it is up fora minimum of 30 days and then post on the web site (with no press release I can find) that it will be gone sooner.

This is one nutty satellite provider.
