hi all
i have a621-2d (dedicated)
10 foot cband dish
trying to get some c band but
can get signal on some sats like 123 but have to have receiver(captivewoks 600p) on 125 to get lock
i only get 1 transponder that signal does not bounce up and down
some other satellites also show signal but also bounce up and down
my dish tracks good with old analog receiver get some channels on other sats
thanks tec117

You need to review your lnbf settings in the receiver. Make sure correct LOF settings and diseqc 1. 0.

DVB is more critical to tune then analog.

Need more information from you about your equipment to help.

Please provide receiver info, switches if installed, coax run, connectors, etc.

Pictures help.

not sure what kind of dish
captiveworks 600p receiver
panasonic 4400 analog receiver to move dish
no switches same cable used for big dish did try new cable no difference about 100 ft did try it out by the dish
going to measure to see if my scaler ring is where it should be

BSC621-2 C/Ku LNBF - Universal Ku
C Band
Input
3.4~4.2 GHz
Output
950~1750 MHz
LO
5150 MHz
Gain
65 dB
Ku Band
Input
10.7~12.75 GHz
Output
950~1950 MHz Low band
1100~2150 MHz High band
LO
9.75 GHz Low band
10.6 GHz High band
Noise
0.3 dB

Is your receiver set to Diseqc 1.0 port one to C band 5150?
The KU portion should be set to Universal on Diseqc port 2.

If your Scalar and lnbf are not set properly you will get poor performance.
If you don't know the correct F/d, you can measure your dish diameter and depth at center and then go to www.satsig.net to calculate all of your dish setup parameters.

@1ADAM12
There are now 3 models of the BSC-621

-1 uses a 22kHz tone switch and the Ku LNB is a standard (L.O. 10750)
-2 uses a DiSEqC switch and the Ku LNB is a universal (L.O. 9750/10600)
-2D has no built-in switch (BYOS) and the Ku LNB is a universal (L.O. 9750/10600) [OP has this one]

@tec117
Remember the L.O. for C-band is 5150

So you have the Cable connected to the box off to the side and not on the back of the BSC-621-2D for getting the C-band stuff?

ok got back to the dish
checked measurements everything seems ok
get a strong signal on galaxy 16 transponder 3735 but no other
transponders is there other transponders that are working on this satellite
if so which ones
thanks tec117

Yes, this bird has nbc, abc,cw,this tv,fox and someother stuff at strong levels. I get then at SQ 70% on Cooslat receiver with a 1.18 m prime focus.
