Fat Air, Thanks for putting this on the forum. What I have read so far seems informative. I look forward to reading it all.

Great info Fat Air thank you , I downloaded all of them except for Page09 - Feed tweaking.
It's not in your list . I read thru them and they are well put together and clear .

Thanks FaT Air,
I see you have been busy. This is the kind of info that a beginner needs.
I will download it all and save it for future reference.

A suggestion if I might.
Something about how to adjust the feedhorn on a 10' or more BUD.
Can't get to it from a ladder.

FOUND- Page 9

Sorry for the delay, updated account, and had a slight snafu, so couldn't post, Thanks Don! Anyhow, This is everything I know, from installing BUDs during its heyday of analog subs, along with little trinkets learned by reading forum posts over the past years.
Not every question is answered, i'm sure, but should get you pointed in the right direction in getting your BUD up and running.
Happy feed hunting! :)

This is nice. Lots of info.:up:cool:

I'm assuming that to find the zenith sat, the azimuth (rotation of the mount on the pole) needs to be done with the actuator arm in such way that the dish is centered, as to put it at it's highest point, correct?
