next week should be interesting.

I'm gonna guess that he takes a leave of absence and ends up going to a different location, if he stays on the show, or isn't seen anymore and we don't hear from him again.

Well, it did have every ER plot device ever! The new doctor, the old administrator, the strange-ish smart old doctor, and of course, the explosion in the waiting room!
